Studi evaluatif ketersediaan dan kualitas ruang terbuka hijau di kawasan Kecamatan Jatinegara
Abstrak
Kawasan sekitar Stasiun Jatinegara telah bertransformasi menjadi pusat komersial yang mendorong perluasan permukiman menjadi sangat padat. Kondisi ini membatasi ketersediaan amenitas dan infrastruktur, terutama ruang terbuka hijau (RTH) akibat tingginya intensitas kegiatan usaha yang memicu alih fungsi lahan menjadi kawasan terbangun. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji kondisi RTH terkini di kawasan Stasiun Jatinegara dan membandingkannya dengan standar Peraturan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum Nomor 05/M/PRT/2008 guna memberikan rekomendasi perancangan RTH di wilayah studi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Kebutuhan RTH ditentukan berdasarkan rasio standar 30% dari total luas lahan, standar kebutuhan 20 meter persegi per orang, serta metode hierarki berdasarkan kemampuan penyerapan oksigen. Tahap analisis meliputi pengenalan karakteristik RTH, penilaian aksesibilitas, bentuk, hingga jenisnya. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan RTH berdasarkan populasi dan oksigen sudah tercukupi dengan persentase 20,78% dari luas total area TOD. Namun, secara regulasi hasil tersebut belum memenuhi standar minimal 30% dari luas kawasan, dengan rincian 20% untuk RTH publik dan 10% untuk RTH privat. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penambahan luas RTH melalui inisiatif pengembangan dan pengelolaan yang menekankan pada penggunaan tanaman penyerap karbon dioksida.
